Our Story
map.D is a spin-off from Again X, the result of a Horizon Europe research project, JPI Conect, co-financed by Norwegian Research Council.
To create resilient cities and a fllourishing ans sustainable urban society, we need to develop better and more interconected information networks about the built environment.
The exponential development of Artifical Intelligence through LLM, ML allowed an integrated transfer of knowhow. We call it Aggregated Information.
That allowed the development of the solutions that are the foundation of mapD , a personal assistent with super powers in understanding the materials it sees, sorting the components according the building codes (NS 3451), converting your dialog to report format, structuring the data in a shareable format either as a report or integrated into FDV.
But what is even more important, creating the infrastructure for updating the data ongoing about your building, and using actively the FDV as a ongoing exchange platform, not only a storage one.
